🗘 Wash Less: Unless it’s against your skin or visibly dirty, knitwear usually only need a wash after 2–4 wears. Air them out between uses instead.

🖑 Hand Wash is King: When in doubt or don’t have tumble wash machine, use lukewarm water and a gentle detergent. Never wring or twist; gently squeeze the water out.

⊟ Dry Flat: Gravity is a knitwear's enemy. Hanging a wet knitwear will stretch the shoulders. Lay it on a clean towel, roll it up like a burrito to remove excess moisture, then reshape it on a flat drying rack.

⊘ Fold, Don't Hang: Hanging knitwear in the closet leads to "shoulder bumps" and permanent stretching. Always fold them.

⪢ De-Pilling: Use a lint comb or fabric shaver or a sweater stone to remove the small fuzz balls (pills) that naturally form in high-friction areas like under the arms.

♨ Iron Inside Out: If wrinkled, iron the garment inside out using the lowest heat setting. Use a steam iron to avoid "scorching" or leaving a shiny residue on the fibers.
